UGG Sheepskin Care Kit Review

Hello friends!

As some of you may know, I live in Canada! So we have lots of snow in the winter. This year I got my first pair of Australia Ugg boots and let me tell you, they are SO warm. I am completely, totally in love with them.

So where does the snow come in with owning a pair of Uggs? Well, with snow comes the salt they put on the roads to keep them less slippery and salt stains the boots! It looks super tacky and takes away from the cuteness that is those cosy, warm boots.

I was given the boots for Christmas and was also given the kit, the kit is $35.00 at Boathouse and it came with sheepskin cleaner & conditioner in one bottle, a bottle of sheepskin freshener, a bottle of sheepskin protector and a brush. I have only used the Protector once right after Christmas and the boots were in great shape, until last week. I noticed the salt started staining my boots so I decided I would use the cleaner and conditioner and then again the protector and let you know how the after look is!

 Before

(I know they aren't super awful looking, but I wanted to save my boots before they got worse)

I loved using this kit! I loved the smell, the colour didn't lighten or change after I used the cleaner and once I used the freshener any odour from my stinky piggies was gone! It left a sweet clean linen smell in my boots and it filled my room with the amazing scent! (I am a sucker for clean linen candles or anything that smells like fresh laundry). After I let the boots sit for 24 hours, I brushed the boots in one direction and it made them look brand new again! The cleaner smells like citrus almost, it isn't a very strong smell but you can tell it's there.

This is the brush that comes with the set, it works miracles! I used the side with the brussels and moved it in circular motions and it made the texture of my boots so soft! The chalk side will help to remove the most stubborn of stains (I promise it is worth it).

After

When these boots first became a trend I refused to buy a pair simply because I knew that no matter how much shoe protector I used, the salt would still stain my boots and make them look awful. I've used the protector twice now and both times it left my boots looking shiny and like a million bucks. My boots smell and look amazing, all at the cost of $35.00!  A lot of people have referred me to using this product because they say it allowed many more years of use out of the boots instead of them being ruined by salt in just one winter.

I gotta say guys, it works greats, smells awesome and doesn't break the bank. You can go to any shoe store and spend $15.00/$20.00 alone on suede shoe protector but with the UGG care kit you get the protector, freshener, and cleaner! It's awesome guys, I love it and my new looking boots! I 10/10 recommend buying this care kit guys, it will save your boots if you have to deal with lots of snow like myself.

Well, that's all for today my loves.

xoxo Kelsey
